Okay so this post is hella old but I AGREE. I know it's just me but I don't like shipping any eddsworld ships, especially everything that happened with the original VA for Tord. Also they would be so unhappy together. Tord tried to kill Tom multiple times, and if it were taken in a comedy perspective then sure it's 'okay' but it's one of the main things that makes Tom hate Tord. Tord is actually my favourite EW character and he's written very well imo but I can't see myself liking him if he were with Tom because those two characters relationship and dynamic are not the type that go well with romance.
